A homeowner called us 6 months in advance to talk about his project, “The Backyard Overhaul.” We met multiple times talking details and brainstorming ideas for this soon to be massive entertaining patio. The homeowner is a veteran so all the consultation was free of charge! We started by overlaying the existing upper level patio which saved time and money, color matching it to the new concrete. We installed footings/blocks, drainage away from the house at 2% slope, and implemented 2 contrasting colors throughout the work. All the block work was done by us as well. Lots of planning and time went into this one, when the homeowner delivered his final payment he said “it wasn’t cheap, but it was well worth it. You’ve exceeded my already high expectations!”
